W Department challenges the distinction between art, craft, and design, between gallery and boutique. By confronting the divisive categorization of artist, designer, and creator, or consumer and collector, we seek to create a holistic environment that celebrates creativity and craftsmanship in all forms.
Originally founded as an art gallery in 1972 on Santa Fe’s historic Plaza, Webster Collection showcases ancient ethnographic work from the Americas, juxtaposed against cutting edge
contemporary works by artists from around the world.
In 2020, we expanded to form W Department, an in-house luxury apparel boutique dedicated to introducing clients and collectors to some of the world’s boldest and most exciting designers and brands.
By presenting art exhibitions alongside seasonal offerings, capsule collections, and exclusive drops, w department and webster collection have established a gathering place and shopping destination unlike any other.
