A key is a strange thing to wear, which is why people have worn them for centuries. It is an object whose entire meaning is that it opens something specific, so a key worn as jewellery is either a memento of something real or a deliberate blank. Either way it carries more than an abstract shape would. Rendered small in silver, it stays on the right side of literal.
Why we selected it
Jewellery from a design house is usually an afterthought with a logo on it. This is neither, and at this size it is wearable daily rather than occasionally.
Ann Demeulemeester founded the label in 1985 and Stefano Gallici has designed it since 2023.
Materials and construction
One hundred percent silver, made in Italy.
Sizing and dimensions
Small enough for daily wear. Exact dimensions are not recorded; ask us and we will measure them.
How it is worn
Daily, and with the Paulu pendant if you want the silver to agree.
Care
Silver tarnishes in air and comes back with a cloth. Store them dry.
