The dropped shoulder is the whole shape. A shoulder seam that sits on the arm instead of on the bone lets a tee hang in a straight line from the neck, and it is the difference between a big tee and a tee that is simply too large. The seams are left raw, the fit is loose without being a tent, and the print is a striped cotton with the look of something found rather than designed this season. It is a plain garment and it is meant to be one.
Why we selected it
A long-sleeve tee gets worn more than anything else in a wardrobe and is almost always bought without thought. This one is worth thinking about for ten seconds, which is nine seconds more than most.
Materials and construction
One hundred percent cotton, made in Portugal, with a printed stripe. Dropped shoulders, loose fit, raw seams. Color: Orange stripe.
Care
Wash cool and gently and dry flat or on a line rather than hot, which keeps the raw seams where they are and the print where it is. Press on the reverse. Our care guidance covers the rest.
