Cortana Sack M Bag

Lamb leather is thin, supple, and fine-grained, and it is not what a tote bag is usually made from, because a tote is usually asked to hold a shape whether or not there is anything in it. This one is not. It is an unstructured shopping tote, which means the leather is the structure and there is no frame, no board, and no stiffening doing the work behind it. That is a real risk to take with a skin this soft, and it pays off in the only way that matters on a bag you actually use: it collapses completely when it is empty, so it travels flat and stores flat, and it takes a shape as soon as you put something in it. The navy is the same pure navy that runs through the collection, which means the bag belongs to the clothes rather than sitting beside them. It is made in Spain, in a country with a long leather trade, and it is the piece in this collection where the making is most visible.

Sizing and dimensions

We do not hold measurements for this bag. It is the larger of the two Sack bags, and the practical difference is the one you would expect: this is the size you load rather than the size you carry. An unstructured tote has no fixed dimension in any case, since it takes the volume of what goes into it and gives back the rest.

Styling

With the Elena Dress or the Costa Pants. It is the plainest object in the collection and it will go with the two print dresses without competing with them, which is exactly what you want a bag to do on a day you are wearing the Irina.

Care

Lamb leather is soft and it marks, and that is the trade for the hand. Keep it away from heat and damp, condition it sparingly rather than often, and store it stuffed and in a dust bag rather than folded flat for long periods.
