Briefing is a Japanese bag maker, founded in 1998, that built its name on military-specification construction and on nylon. A baseball cap made with a bag maker is a sensible pairing rather than a novelty one, because the parts of a cap that fail are the parts a bag maker thinks about hardest: the seams at the crown, the sweatband, and the closure at the back. This one is nylon throughout with a snap closure, which is the adjustable back that holds a position instead of creeping the way a buckle strap does. Black, made in Japan.
Why we selected it
We do not carry many caps. This one is made with a maker whose whole business is hardware and nylon, and that is the reason it is the one.
Comme des Garçons Homme collaborates outside design as often as inside it, and a bag maker is a more useful partner for a cap than another clothing house would be.

Sizing and dimensions
We do not hold measurements for this cap. A snap-back closure adjusts across a wide range by design, which is the reason that style of back exists, so the absence of a size matters less on this object than it would on almost anything else in the line.

Care
Do not put a structured cap in a machine, because the crown loses its shape and does not get it back. Spot clean with cool water and let it air dry away from heat. Nylon melts at temperatures an iron reaches, so nothing hot goes near it. Our care guidance covers the rest.
