The interesting thing about this shirt is where the pockets are. Inseam pockets at the waist mean an opening cut into the side seam rather than a patch applied to the front, so the shirt reads completely plain from the front and has somewhere to put your hands. That is a trouser detail moved onto a shirt, and it is the kind of small displacement this house has been making for fifty years. The rest is deliberately unremarkable: one hundred percent cotton, white, long sleeves, a button front, and the line's name embroidered at the hem where a jacket would cover it. Made in Japan.
