Rick Owens F/W 25 Fingerless Gloves

The snap is the reason to buy these. Gloves are lost one at a time, always, and a fastener that joins the pair when they are not being worn is the only design solution to a problem everyone has and nobody addresses. It costs almost nothing to include and virtually no one does.

Beyond that they are exactly what they claim: one hundred percent cashmere, fingerless, made in Italy. Cashmere is warm at very low weight because the fibre is fine and hollow, which matters more in a glove than almost anywhere else, since bulk at the hand is what stops people wearing gloves at all.

Why we selected it

Santa Fe mornings are cold and Santa Fe afternoons are not, and a fingerless cashmere glove is the honest answer to that specific climate. The snap is the second reason and it is not a small one.

Materials and construction

One hundred percent cashmere. Made in Italy, in Black. Fingerless, with a snap fastening joining the pair. From the Fall/Winter 2025 Concordians collection.

Sizing

We do not hold a size for these. A knitted cashmere glove stretches to the hand rather than being cut to it, so size matters far less here than it would on a leather glove.

Styling and care

With everything, in October and again in April. Cashmere wants folding, airing, and washing rarely, in cool water with a wool detergent, then drying flat. It will pill where it rubs; that is fine cashmere behaving normally and a comb takes it off. Our care guidance covers the general principles.
