The embroidery says OWENSCORP, not Rick Owens. That is the name of the company rather than the designer, the entity that owns the factory near Modena and signs the paperwork, and putting the corporate name on a baseball cap instead of the famous one is a very dry piece of humour that most people will read straight past.
Beyond that it is a cap: cotton with a little elastane, cotton lined, made in Italy, in Pearl with black. Caps are not a category that rewards over-thinking, and this one is well made and correctly proportioned, which is most of what there is to want.
Why we selected it
It is often someone’s first purchase from this house. We would rather that first purchase were good.
Materials and construction
Ninety-seven percent cotton and three percent elastane, with a lining in 100% cotton. Made in Italy, in Pearl and black. OWENSCORP embroidered at the front. From the Fall/Winter 2025 Concordians collection.
Sizing
We do not hold a size or a closure detail for this cap. The three percent elastane in the shell means there is some give in it, but we will not describe a fastening we have not seen. Ask us and we will look at it.
Styling and care
With anything. Wash by hand in cool water and reshape over something round to dry; a cap should never go through a machine, which destroys the crown, and never through a dryer, which shrinks the cotton around the brim. Our care guidance covers the general principles.
