Rick Owens Cropped Level T – Black Classic Cotton Jersey

Classic cotton jersey is the house’s standard cloth and it is a different thing from the semi-sheer lightweight jerseys elsewhere in the line. It is mediumweight and compact, with a dry rather than slippery handle, so it holds a little away from the body instead of following every line of it. On a cropped garment that matters more than it would on a long one, because a crop in a clingy cloth is a different garment entirely.

Cropped, plain, black. It is the reliable one.

Why we selected it

It is the black crop that goes under and over everything and does not need thinking about. We would rather say that than construct a philosophy for it.

One hundred percent cotton, made in Italy, in black. Classic cotton jersey, cropped.

Fit notes

Cropped, so it sits above the waist and works over a high waistband rather than tucking in. Classic jersey at this weight has more body than the lightweight tees here and does not cling. It relaxes across a day and recovers with washing. Take your usual size.

Styling and care

Under either cropped outershirt. Under the Jumbo Tabard Top. With high-waisted black trousers. For care, wash cool inside out and keep it out of a hot dryer, which is what fades black. Our care guidance covers the rest.
